The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run. The 2016 awards received entries from 31 nations and territories. RippleNami earned gold in both the Startup of the Year – Business Products Industries and Female Executive of the Year – Business Products –10 or Less Employees while the silver was bestowed upon the Company for Startup of the Year – Business Services Industries.

With more than 500 businesswomen and their guests in attendance, the awards were announced at a gala dinner at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City on Friday evening, November 18, 2016. Nations represented at the event included Argentina, Australia, Canada, Croatia, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, South Africa, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the U.S.A.

Concurrently, Connolly-LaBelle, who is well known in the San Diego business community, was selected for the Women Who Mean Business Awards. Now in its 23rd year, the San Diego Business Journal offers this awards program to recognize local-area businesswomen through this prestigious opportunity. Winners were chosen from women throughout San Diego across myriad industries and professions, including those who have reached career milestones that are making a difference in their communities and setting examples for others.
